Froh Community Home - Nursing Center

The Froh Community Home houses 118 beds. Each semi-private room feature a half bath, twin size bed with a pressure relieving mattress, over bed table, night stand and built in dresser / closet. We encourage families and residents to make the room as "homelike" allowing televisions, radios, pictures, shelves, stands and of course the favorite chair. Televisions are not provided but for a small monthly fee cable service is provided. Telephone service is available and the resident / family may arrange this service through the local phone company that is billed to you directly from the carrier. Due to fire regulations no extension cords are allowed and the maintenance department can assist you the need for a bulletin board.

At least 7 changes of clothing are recommended, marked with the resident's name. Our residents choose comfortable seasonal clothing such as sweat suits, jeans, shorts and pull over shirts. Walking shoes and slippers should have a non-slip material on the soles for safety walking on the linoleum floors. We encourage valuables are kept at home or suggest they are kept in our safe.

We operate an "Open Door" policy and welcome your comments and concerns and invite you to discuss with us at any time those issues that may concern you. We encourage you to participate in our Family / Resident Council meetings and scheduled conferences with the resident / family throughout your stay with us. We need your input so we can improve our care or encourage us that we may doing something well meeting the needs of your loved one.

Visitation hours are open 24 hours each day but we request that visits late respect the privacy of others.

Our Medical Director is in our facility two to three times each week along with other physicians that have privileges and you may continue with your private physician through office visits. We offer transportation services on a limited basis and there is public transportation available.
