The Froh Community Home Nursing Center houses 118 beds. Each semi-private room feature a half-bath, twin size bed, and an individual nightstand. A built-in dresser and closet are provided. Residents may further decorate with additional furnishing as space permits.

Also included in the accommodations are: assistance/emergency pull cord in bathroom; assistance/emergency pull cord by each resident's bed; and cable TV hook up (monthly service fee is resident's responsibility).





Garden area
Guidelines for prospective residents have been established according to applicable regulations and requirements.
Applicant must: need basic or skilled nursing care; have a physical, medical history and doctors orders five days prior to admission; have a chest x-ray within 90 days prior to admission; MI/MR Assessment screening; and provide social security, Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance cards.

Newsletter of events published monthly.
An active resident council.
Bulletin board of current events.
Devotions, gospel fellowship and church services to meet the spiritual need of the residents.
Assists families in arranging personal birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Daily scheduled activities including: cards & games, gardening, arts & crafts, cooking groups, quilt club, wood shop, wordgames, bingo and movies.
Community and area trips, including trips to the St. Joseph County Fair, fishing, parades and color tour.
Games, crafts and library services.
Special events and musical programs, dances, monthly birthday parties, monthly ladies' lunch and men's breakfast club.
NURSING DEPARTMENT
24 hour licensed nursing care.
Medication dispensing and medical treatments by licensed staff.
Ambulation and range of motion assistance.
Assists residents to and from dining room and activities.
Specialized skin and wound care.
DIETARY DEPARTMENT
Serves 3 nutritious meals in the Nursing Center dining room.
Choice of two entree selections per meal.
Visitor meals available for minimal charge.
Diabetic and therapeutic diets according to Doctor's orders.
REHABILITATION
Licensed Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists and trained assistants.
Full rehabilitation program including:
- Gait training.
- Electrical muscle stimulation.
- Self care instruction.
- Therapeutic exercise.
- Dysphagia training.
- Ultra Sound.
- Pulsed Diathermy.
OTHER SERVICES AND AREAS
Barber/beauty shop.
Chapel area.
Exam room.
