Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while respecting the rights and dignity of each individual.

Duties

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life.

  • Monitor and document changes in residents' health status and report any concerns to nursing staff.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of living environments by performing light housekeeping tasks.

Adult Foster Caregiver

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.  Assist residents with all aspects of activities of daily living.

2.  Assist residents to and from the dining room.

3.  See that residents get to scheduled activities, therapies and appointments within the facility.

4.  Make beds and keep rooms neat.

5.  Assist resident with transfers, range-of-motion, ambulation and positioning.

6.  Make rounds with other shifts as scheduled.

7.  Daily duties as assigned by Nurse.

8.  Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

CNA

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assistant new hires through appropriate orientation, evaluation, assignment, and delegation of duties.

  • Assure staff, resident, and visitor compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Ensure residents, visitors, and staff have a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

  • Know the emergency preparedness plan and be able to react and give instructions as indicated.

  • Attend in-service programs and staff meetings.

  • Personally responsible for shift coverage when unable to cover any other way.

  • Conduct tours positively and professionally.

  • Assist with move-ins, transfers, and move-outs.

Assisted Living Caregiver

Job Overview


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various remodeling tasks and a passion for transforming spaces. You will be responsible for executing a renovation project, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and delivering exceptional results that meet client expectations.

Please note, this is a temporary position.


Responsibilities

  • Execute remodeling projects as assigned.

  • Perform tasks such as general home renovation, flooring installation, and tile laying.

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various construction tasks.

  • Install windows, cabinets and hang doors with precision and attention to detail.

  • Build structures according to specifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters to achieve project goals. (If needed.)

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of the project.

  • Communicate effectively with CEO and/or Maintenance Director to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in remodeling or construction work is preferred.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Knowledge of flooring installation methods is a plus.

  • Ability to perform carpentry tasks, including cabinet installation and door hanging.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

Housekeeping Assistant

Job Overview
The Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing all aspects of dining operations within our life plan community. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual who can manage a diverse team, ensure exceptional food quality, and maintain high standards of service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and fine dining, with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, implement and maintain food service functions at levels of high resident satisfaction.

  • Plan and implement cyclical menus, to be reviewed by a qualified dietitian, to provide balanced, nutritious and attractive meals.

  • Develop cycle menus, to be reviewed by a qualified dietitian, based on residents' dining preferences and needs, modify menus seasonally to take advantage of seasonal items .

  • Ensure implementation of less restrictive diets where appropriate and as requested by the resident.

  • Provide attractive special diets for residents with diet restriction.

  • Cooperate with other departments in maintaining a program of special/seasonal events on a regular basis.

  • Maintain purchasing, receiving, inventorying, production and quality control specifications and procedures to assure effective and efficient coordination with menu planning.

  • Ensure a high level of food service involvement in resident care planning and evaluating dietary needs.

  • Maintain, in cooperation with Maintenance Director, a preventative maintenance program for all food service equipment.

  • Maintain a schedule for the procurement/ replacement of dietary equipment.

  • Maintain appropriate in-house sanitation manuals and schedules for quality assurance and compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Director of Dining Services



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow established performance standards and implement facility policies and procedures on the unit assigned.

  • Interpret existing policies and procedures to CNAs, residents, families and physicians.

  • Assume responsibility for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within the unit on the assigned shift of duty.

  • Instruct CNAs in proper, preventive measures and use of adaptive equipment to meet the needs of each resident.

  • Provide job performance counsel and mentoring to supervised CNAs – recommending, when necessary and appropriate, disciplinary action to  D.O.N.

  • Provide clinical supervision and daily instruction to CNAs regarding care relating to ADLs.

  • Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care provided and initiate corrective action as necessary.

  • Obtain report from nurse being relieved and record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary in relation to the resident’s treatment needs.

  • Conduct resident rounds.

  • Report resident health care changes to DON- ADON-MDS (as appropriate), including development of pressure sores, and take follow up action.

  • Obtain physicians’ orders and any revisions for all treatments needed.

  • Start IVs and draw blood when necessary, if RN, and appropriate related functions, if LPN.

  • Document resident care provided and resident’s response, or lack of response, to treatment provided.

  • Assess resident needs and participate in development and maintenance of individualized resident care plans in compliance with care plans.

  • Participate in resident care conferences as requested.

  • Provide direct resident care.

  • Provide concise, accurate report to staff nurse coming on duty and take follow up action as necessary.

  • Supervise and evaluate the implementation of “Residents’ Bill of Rights”.

  • Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action.

  • Identify special nursing problems and emergency situations quickly and initiate immediate “life saving” measures in the absence of a physician, unless Advance Directives indicate otherwise.

  • Responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision.

  • Observe and assure infection control procedures.

  • Listen to resident, family, or physician complaints and, as appropriate, initiate corrective action and/or report special problems to the DON-ADON.

  • Control supplies and equipment.

  • Compile information for facility committees as instructed.

  • Assist in/complete the admission, transfer and discharge of residents as necessary/assigned with appropriate documentation.

  • Attend and participate in continuing educational/inservice/professional staff programs as required.

RN/LPN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • To survey laundry situation and start where previous shift left off.

  • Collect all barrels /replacing them with empty ones one station at a time.

  • Sort and weigh items before placing them in washers “using station number system to follow through from sorting to drying. 

  • Lifting to 50 pounds to weigh soiled laundry. 

  • Filling washers to their load capacity/ without overloading.

  • Unloading (pulling) linens out of commercial size washers. 

  • Washing personal resident clothing as advised in small washers.

  • Drying all items according to the fabric to keep from over drying (wrinkling)

  • Fold and hang all clothing/terries according to need placing them in their designated areas as marked.

  • Keeping supervisor notified when you are experiencing concerns, or low on chemical.

  • Immediately writing a work order if /when repair is needed for a washer or dryer. 

  • Emptying lint traps as designated and signs off on the sheet.

  • Clean washers daily as needed /Sweep, mop, dust all areas as needed pre safety requirements.

Laundry Assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Evaluate the patient’s functional status (muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, written and verbal communication skills, self–care ability, work capacity, etc.) and participate in the development of the individualized plan of care.

  2. Develop a treatment program and establish goals for improved function. Communicates plan of care to referring physician and other organization professionals. Also necessary is to develop a program for caregivers' energy conservation.

  3. May teach new skills or retrain patients in using various types of adaptive equipment to improve function.

  4. May fabricate splints and instruct patient in familiar daily activities lost due to illness or injury.

  5. May train patient and family/caregiver in the use of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices.

  6. Maintains appropriate clinical records, progress notes, and reports to the physician any changes in the patient's condition.

  7. Maintains contact/communication with team members in the patient’s care to promote coordinated, efficient care.

  8. Attends and contributes to in-services, interdisciplinary case conferences, and other meetings as required by organization policy to comprehensive assessments for the patients or the organizations.

  9. Instructs and educates patient’s/family/caregiver and other team members in patient’s treatment regime.

  10. Actively participates in quality assessment performance improvement teams and activities.

  11. Participates in discharge planning for patients.
