Willowbrook Memory Care is a specialized assisted living community caring for people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. All staff receive a certification by completing training through the Alzheimer’s Association®. At Willowbrook, we take the time to learn about each person, the things that make them unique and their individual life story.

Willowbrook is small, 14 cozy apartments, intentionally designed to create a homelike atmosphere, minimize distraction and provide engaging interactions. Willowbrook is the only living community in our area dedicated to caring for people with dementia. We believe that the lives of people with memory loss can be enriched with appropriate and compassionate memory care. We’re here to help by providing a safe environment and dedicated around-the-clock staff.

Froh Manor Residency GuidelinesCriteria for Residency in Froh Manor Guidelines for prospective residents have been established according to applicable regulations and requirements. Individual cooperation is required to meet these guidelines and to provide a pleasant environment for each Manor resident. Must be 62 years of age or older. Must satisfy Income Requirements set by US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Must be able to meet requirements set by H.U.D. Must have good housekeeping, credit references and pass a criminal background check. Must provide the information requested in the application packet (and pay appropriate deposit and rent amounts). Building and campus is Smoke-free.

AccommodationsEach private living area features a bed/sitting room combination with a half bath and is furnished with a bed, three-drawer nightstand, built-in dresser and closet space. Bed linens, towels and wash clothes are supplied. Residents may bring their own twin bed and under counter type refrigerator if they wish and may further decorate with additional furniture, drapes, linens, plants, etc., to suit their individual tastes. Guidelines for AdmissionFroh Community Home provides skilled nursing care and rehabilitation. We are certified to accept Medicare and Medicaid and many insurances. A person can qualify for admission to Froh Community Home in various ways. We may make an initial assessment visit to the applicant's home, hospital, or another facility to make sure we can provide the care and treatment needed. We will require the physician to provide us with medical records and other information to help us establish our ability to care for you. ServicesThe Froh Community Home has a rich and long history of caring for people in our community who need rehabilitation services and skilled nursing care. We have a reputation as an exceptional health care provider, one we’ve earned and validated by many local, State and National awards. Our home offers a wide array of services including highly skilled nursing care, rehabilitation, activities, transportation, and social services just to mention a few. We use a person centered philosophy for care at our home, we want our residents to make their own choices whenever possible. Our staff is available at any time and visiting hours are 24 hours daily. Services Include: Two Medical Directors available 2-3 times per week Short-stay and long-term rehabilitation is our specialty and staffed 6-7 days a week. Psychiatrist available Quarterly care team meetings with resident/family and/or as needed meetings. Staff that have been specially trained in dealing with difficult situations and behaviors Activities that are engaging and meaningful Assistance with daily care needs, including medications, activities of daily living, skilled nursing care for treatments and wound care. Social Services to assist residents with mental health needs, planning for discharge and admission, advance directive planning and other medically related social services. Residents that need exercises and functional skills to maintain their level of function are provided daily restorative therapy programs. Nutritious meals with a menu developed by a Registered Dietitian who also oversees clinical nutrition issues such as weight loss. AccommodationsRooms Each semi-private room feature a twin size bed with a pressure relieving mattress, over bed table, night stand and built in dresser and closet. We encourage families and residents to make the room “homelike” by allowing radios, pictures, shelves, stands and of course the favorite chair. Accomodations
Each of our private apartments have a studio style layout, with a combination sitting room and bedroom, featuring a private half bath. This layout creates a nice space with ample room for personalization and distinct living and sleeping areas. Equally as important, apartments are small enough to help maintain independence as functional level may change with progression of dementia. We encourage decorating/furnishing with items familiar to each person to produce a space that is inviting and recognizable.
